Mark Evans sem gerði þessar kit seríur.. t.d "A racecar is born". Hann fór síðan með bílinn sinn í þessa skoðun og það var sagt frá þessu frá A-Ö. Og þetta er MEGA strangt!. Það var sko farið í alltsaman.. það mátti t.d ekki vera neinn hvassur hlutur framan á bílinum til öryggis vegfarenda. Mæli með þessum seríum

Ég held að menn séu farnir að tala um 2 hluti.

Upphaflega varstu að tala um hvernig menn koma út úr crash testi. Í Ultimunni er það grindin sem
skiptir öllu máli í því testi og þá verður þú bara að vona að suðugaurinn í verksmiðjunni hafi verið
vel vakandi við að sjóða grindina. Sá sem setur bílinn saman hefur ekkert að segja.

Það sem ég held að margir séu farnir að ræða um er öryggi bílsins, þe. endarðu út í skurði af því að
einhver setti spyrnu vitlaust í eða bremsurnar séu ekki rétt samsettar. Þar hefur sá sem setur bílinn
allt að segja.

Svo sendi ég fyrirspurn um hvað bíll eins og sá sem setti metið kostar - hér er svarið:

"Our top of the range GTR720 will cost around £70k to build yourself in kit form, or as a factory built vehicle it is around £90k. However please bear in mind that this is our top of the range flagship model. We wouldn't want people to lose sight of the fact that it is possible to build a superb Ultima with a 300bhp motor for around £30-35k with a careful selection of options, and a typical 550bhp Ultima can be built for around the region of £50k. Worth bearing in mind too that unlike many other cars an Ultima is easy to upgrade so can easily be upgraded to "720 spec" at a later date if desired."
