?? :hmm: Missti ég af einhverju?

Michael Schumacher is back. The seven-time world champion returned to Formula 1 and immidiatly showed he still knows how to do it. He was the fastest man on track on Tuesday at Circuit de Catalunya, just ahead of his team-mate Luca Badoer.

The eleven Formula 1 teams at Circuit de Catalunya began its preparations for the 2008 Formula One season. Force India completed its first day of action in the team's new livery with Giedo van der Garde and Roldan Rodriguez behind the wheel.

At Red Bull Racing Karun Chandhok completed his first day of testing with a Formula 1 car. Red Bull invited the GP2 driver for a two-day test in Barcelona. At Honda we saw another driver enjoy his debut in Formula 1. Andreas Zuber did well on his first day of testing with the Honda F1 team. He hopes to become the team's official test driver in 2008.

The day in Spain got interrupted several times with red flags. Force India driver Giedo van der Garde caused two red flags, while his team-mate Rodriguez also caused one red flag. At Toro Rosso Bourdais caused a red flag as the Frenchman suffered from gearbox problems. Jarno Trulli was also one of the drivers causing a red flag. The Italian blew up his Toyota engine.

All eyes were on seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher though. The German returned after one year of rest in a Formula 1 car and immediately showed he is still on the pace. He completed the fastest time of the day, just ahead of Ferrari's test driver Luca Badoer.

Testing will continue on Wednesday.

hann er að hjálpa þeim við prófanir fyrir næsta ár, þar sem þeir ökumenn sem eru núna hafa litla reynslu af að aka F1 bíl án spól/skriðvarnar
