got an E30 316i Touring for sale here
driven only 174.xxx km, all in great condition, little (if any) rust
never had any problems with yearly checks
barely used winter tires included
polished and waxed the other day, so its all shiny and stuff 8)

according to documents - it still is :D
but i dont think any e30s were produced after '92, so just to be on the safe side..

correct me if im wrong

tourings where built till ´94
Cabrios til ´93 or ´94 as well.

The E30 was more of an upgraded E21 than an all new car and it used some of the same engines. Major changes included improved front and rear suspension design, more modern interior design, and a deeper front spoiler.

In Europe the touring and convertible models survived until 1993, while the coupes were discontinued in 1991, replaced by the E36.

Take the last 7 digits of the production number (VIN code, find it somewhere in the hood or in the registration papers) and type it here: http://www.bmw-z1.com/VIN/VINdecode-e.cgi

And then you should have the production date of the car. :-)
