"Thank you BMW for finally doing what we all want our manufacturers to offer: performance parts on the car straight from the factory. GM, Ford, Dodge - are you listening?

Coming soon, a plethora of parts will be available for new BMW 3 series owners. From 19" wheels wrapped in Bridgestone tires covering cross-drilled rotors, to strut braces and control arms. Performance wise, have them start you with a beefier camshaft, a stronger differential, and an intake/exhaust combo that will propel your car faster and raise your redline by 300 RPMs. They will even throw in a short shifter kit for those who want to slam gears.

In terms of warranty, BMW Performance parts are original BMW accessories and as such carry the full BMW Parts and Accessory Limited Warranty. If installed by an authorized BMW center at the time of a new vehicle purchase, rest assured that the performance parts are covered by the same terms and conditions as the new vehicle limited warranty.

Hopefully this will light a fire under other manufacturers' asses so they get in gear and start giving us some mods off the showroom floor. "

Það er satt, þetta hljómar fishy. Vonandi er þetta satt þó... væri geggjað ef BMW færu að bjóða uppá þetta og myndi eventually auka listann af hlutum til að kaupa og þá í BMW gæðum.
