..... þá er þetta kannski eitthvað fyrir þig:
Bugatti Veyron? Pah. MacLaren F1? Not really trying. What you want is an Acabion GTBO 70.
Never heard of it? That's hardly surprising because this 'jet fighter canopy on wheels' only made its public debut at the Geneva motor show.
However, that hasn't stopped the firm claiming a top speed of 375mph for its most powerful model.
Powered by turbocharged 1.3-litre Suzuki motorcycle engine tuned to a demented 690bhp, the GTBO 70 is reckoned to go from rest to 280mph in 19 seconds.
If that sounds a bit too much for you, there's an Acabion with a mere 355bhp that is flat out at only 344mph. There's also an electric motor for low-speed driving.
But before you get carried away with the performance figures, remember that the Acabion runs on two wheels at anything above walking pace, when the rear stabilisers fold out of the way.
The reason for two wheels is to create the leanest front profile possible, hence the jet fighter styling.
Light weight also helps the Acabion along, tipping the scales at just 359kg.
Acabion says the GTBO range is practical too, with a 150-litre boot space and economy of 70.5mpg.
No production Acabions have been delivered yet, but the German firm is taking customer orders.
