BMW is planning a four-door coupe to compete with the Mercedes CLS-Class, according to the latest issue of Germany's AutoBild magazine. Unlike the CLS, this car will have suicide doors, according to the report. The car has no B-pillar, and is reminiscent of the 1990s BMW 8-Series. In fact, we suspect the only logical nameplate to use for this project would be 8-Series. We have yet to see the full article, so we're not sure when the magazine reckons this "sensational" car will be available.
Hérna eru sömu fréttir frá annari siðu:
BMW's date to the dance will be the X6, a four-door coupe based on the X5 SUV that separates itself with four-wheel drive and a higher seating position than the competition. Power will be provided by either a V8 or a version of BMW's decorated V10 engine. The current cover of German car mag Autobild shows that publication's best guess as to what the X6 will look like when it debuts in 2009.
Suicide doors a BMW, það hefur ekki gerst áður er það nokkuð...? Mér finnst það alltaf jafn svalt að hafa þannig
