The only point having a seat sensor is that the airbag won't deploy when the passenger seat is vacant, thus saving on repair costs (although if the accident is serious enough to have the Air Bags deployed, the vehicle would most likely be a right off anyway).

At present if your Airbag light is constantly on, there is a chance that the air bags will not deploy on impact!

This Unit just connects to two wires under the passenger seat.This job will take a complete novice less than 5 minutes (if you can change a plug you can do this).
