En veit maður einhverntíman hvaða olíu BMW er að re-branda sem BMW

Það má vera, líklega betri í dag þó að hún henti verr í gömlu mótorana. En skv. Flestu sem ég hef lesið er þessi 10w60 prefered della líklega tilkomin með facelift E39 og E46M3, en nú eru menn að bakka úr þessu og í lægri tölur.

Ég er allavega í smá olíudílema... Er að fara að skipta og get ekki ákveðið hvað ég á að velja..

5w40 (recomended)
5w50 (td Mobil1)

Ætli ég prófi ekki Motul 5w40

Eldri oliur innihéldu Fosfat,, og Zink ,, sem er ÆÐI fyrir eldri vélarnar

nýju olíurnar eru brill fyrir nýrri vélar,,

svo eru framleiðendur farnir að selja,, PERFORMANCE oliur með fosfat og zink .. en ná eðlilega ekki að halda mengunarstaðli

Ég hef einmitt notað Motul 300V 15-50 en hún er líklega of þykk köld. Reyni að finna 5w40 eða 5w30
Annars er ótrlúlega skrítin lykt af þessari olíu, mjög chemical eitthvað, nánast eins og málning.

"venjulegar" Performance olíur € 15-18 pr Líter (5W30 og 5W40)

Fæst bara í 2L brúsum þannig að ég þurfti að kaupa 4 x 41€ !! bloddy hell

15/50 er feitt i lagi,,,,

ath i kulda er 15 eðlilega þykkari en 5 eða 10 i kaldræsingu,,,, en þetta MOTUL v300 er klárlega í hóp top of the line

ég mun næsta sumar ekki aka á neinu en 15/50,,

ég er ekki með M bíl. en non the less einhvern viðkvæmasta mótor frá bmw þegar það kemur að olíu. ég hafði hingað til notað 5/30 full synetíska mobil1.

ég prufaði um daginn að nota comma olíu fyrir vw, en það stendur á brúsanum að hún uppfylli bmw staðlana,
ég tók strax eftir að mér fannst minna hljóð í mótornum, en N42 er þekktur fyrir að vera grófgengur ég hef verið að ath olíuna með puttunum og mér sýnist þetta bara hin fínasta olía. hún er talsvert ódýrari en mobil1

Ég er ekki sérfræðingurinn í þessu, og kanski þess vegna sem ég skil ekki af hverju 15W olía ætti að vera málið á bíla sem eru gefnir upp með 5W.

15W er bara þykkt dót kalt, og fyrir bíla á Íslandi eða Pólandi(að vetri) sé ég ekki tilganginn.
