i'm desperately looking for the ignition lock (and a key:)) for a '96 320

Did it get stuck.... and then you pulled the key out... and it kept running :?:

Also happened to mine... and trends to happen a lot in E36...

then i broke the thing apart, and now i start my car with a screwdriver, gangsta-style 8)
which sucks, and doesnt allow me to get through skoðun :evil:

was it a pain in the ass to replace? i mean the procedure itself
and would having an immobiliser be a problem with it?

Since you have a immobilizer you will have to take it to either TB or the dealership. I havent had mine replaced yet, but i am using the same method!

where is this imobilizer-inside in key??if yes then open key take out this shit and put with tape or lim under plastic cover whitch is around key lock and steering ..........and use new key and new lock without problems!!im not sure how it is on e36 but i know to can do like that for other kind of cars!! :wink:

Tommi Camaro what costs 13k? i checked bogl a while ago, wanted to get a new key (mine is kinda weird-looking). they told me its gonna cost 25+ thousand
