Gallar: Spyrnan aftan h/m, fylgir með, lekur olia ur vél hugsanlega ponnupakkning eða ventlalokspakkning
vantar splitti a styrisendan h/m, þarf að skipta um o-ring á drifinu (mjög easy verk)
Og það versta er að eg fann vatn i vélini, á ekki hugmynd hverning það gerist hugsanlega heddpakkning:(
Eg keyrði billin i allt sumarið og það var ekkert vesen siðan for han i geymslu. Svo for eg med hann ut um daginn ég tók eftir hvita reyk ur pustinu, svo athugaði eg oliu og sá að það er vatn i þvi.

Allavega þetta eru gallarnir

Er vitað númer hvað þessi skipting er í þessum bíl?... Þegar vinur minn átti hana fór hún 2 hjá honum og allavega 1 sinnu hjá eigandanum eftir það!

You live in Iceland, very cold, maybe many cold starts and short distance drives and engine never gets on operating temperature, so then such 'coffee cream,vanilla yoghurt or mayonnaise ' stuff is normal.

When it will get warmer, drive a longer time and the 'cream' will disappear.

Or make a test, do not belive all what your mechanic says, headgasget change will make for him much $$

A slightly more accurate way to check for this condition is to use a combustion leak tester, or block tester. If you're in America, NAPA sell them for about $45 (part #BK 7001006). If you're in England, Sealey sell them for about £70 (model number VS0061). Combustion leak testers are basically a turkey baster filled with PH liquid, with a non-return valve at the bottom. To use one, run your engine for a few minutes until its warm (not hot) then turn it off. Use a protective glove (like an oven glove) and take the radiator or reservoir cap off. Plug the bottom of the combustion leak tester into the hole and squeeze the rubber bulb on top. It will suck air from the top of the coolant through the non-return valve and bubble it through the PH liquid. If the liquid changes colour (normally blue to yellow), it means there is combustion gas in the coolant, which means a head gasket leak.
There is one other possible cause for this yellow goop : a blocked scavenger hose. Most engines have a hose which comes off the cam cover and returns to the engine block somewhere via a vacuum line. This is the scavenger hose which scavenges oil vapour and gasses that build up in the cam cover. If it's blocked you can end up with a buildup of condensation inside the cam cover, which can manifest itself as the yellow goop inside the filler cap.

Fuel Dilution Causes and Effects

Fuel dilution of motor oil can be very detrimental to an engine and its components. Under normal operation, the motor oil film is keeping metal surfaces and their asperities separated to prevent wear.

All of the following can occur if fuel enters the crankcase and contaminates the motor oil:

・Reduced oil viscosity
・Disrupts the oil film strength causing metal asperities to contact each other promoting engine wear, particularly in the cylinder/ring area
・Increases volatility (in very extreme cases it can lead to a crankcase explosion)
・Weakened lubricant detergency
・Accelerated lubricant oxidation
・Varnish formation
・Acid formation/corrosion
・Low oil pressure

The causes of fuel dilution can be the result of many things:

・Leaking injectors
・Excessive idle time
・Incomplete combustion
・Cool engine operating conditions
・Frequent short trip driving
・Performance chips/engine modifications
・Restricted air filter/bad air to fuel ratio
・Worn piston rings/excessive blow-by
・Towing/lugging engine
・Fuel pump/over fueling
・Seals and gaskets
・Improper injector timing
Depending of the application and operating conditions, a cautionary limit of up to 2% fuel dilution may be allowed provided viscosity has not changed. However, it may be recommended to examine the engine and analyze operating conditions. Dilution ranging between 2.5% to 5.0% is considered excessive and requires immediate maintenance action.

If fuel dilution problems occur, it is necessary to correct the root causes of the contamination.

Oil analysis can provide an immediate answer to determine whether there is fuel dilution occurring in the engine.

Drive the car more....about 45 mins to vaporize the water in the crankcase.

Common problem due to short trips and not enough heat in the engine to make the water steam.
